Certain entry formalities are required to be cleared for traveling to the Czech Republic. Citizens of European Union require just a passport to stay for an unlimited period in the Czech Republic. Australian, Canadian, New Zealand and American citizens can stay only for 90 days with passport and no visa.
Most of the personal use items are not subject to import duty in the Czech Republic. Some of the duty free goods in the Czech Republic are 1 ltr of alcohol, l50 gms of perfumes and 200 cigarettes. There is no restriction in carrying currency at the border but it must be declared if the amount is over 500,000Kc. Live farm animals, produces, plants, tea and coffee can not be imported. Household pets can be brought to the Czech Republic, only if it carries an international health certificate.
